11:36am
I really wish I
was busy at home, cleaning and sewing and washing windows, but alas, I’m here,
and there’s nothing I can do about it.
This morning we
woke up at 6:30am, and thankfully neither of us had to have a shower, cause we
did yesterday, and my hair is still pretty curly, so I just washed my face and
brushed my teeth.
I threw on some
of my old Adidas capris, that have been too tight to wear for the past couple
years, and they fit today!!! So I’m wearing the green capris, and a pink Bass
Pro tshirt, and flip flops.
I put our lima
bean chili in a storage container, and brought it to work today for lunch, and
I will be eating that shortly. It’s 237 calories per serving, or thereabouts, I
know it’s in the 200’s somewhere.
I had Lucky
Charms for breakfast, 300 calories, and have had a few cups of coffee, 200= 500
so far today. That Lima Bean chili will make 750, so I’m well on my way today
to doing good.
Yesterday, I had
Lucky Charms for breakfast (300), pizza for lunch (700) coffee (200) lima bean
chili (250) 1 beer (110) = 1550 minus I walked for 20 minutes, 1 mile burned
120 calories = 1430 yesterday. Pretty good I’d say, considering I had pizza.
So if I make
that 250 calories meal tonight, I will have had 1000 calories today, plus I
will walk tonight, so I will be at about 880 calories for the day. I love it
when I cook healthy!
Tomorrow is pay
day, so I’ll be out and about tomorrow, so I’m going to get my grocery list
together sometime today or tomorrow, and go to the grocery while I’m out. I
think I’ll go to Hancock’s while I’m in Monroe as well, and possibly go to
Super One too, since we are boycotting Walmart.
I’d like to go
by Dollar Tree too, cause everythings a dollar in there, and see what all they
got.
The Democratic
Convention came on last night, and I don’t understand how people can be that
way, and live with themselves. They support ABORTION. I have come to the decision,
that the reason that women have abortions, is because they don’t want their
babies, but they don’t want anyone else to have them either. So they kill them.
They abort them. That person is alive, and isn’t even given a chance at life,
to live. That baby isn’t even given a chance to be born, to live, to have a
life. They are subjected to violence in their own mother’s womb! They are
murdered before their very first breath, by their own mother.
I have put this
in the Lord’s hands, and I trust HIM to do something about it, because the
people of this world can’t be entrusted to let people live anymore, and have
made it legal to take life before a person even gets a chance to have a life.
There are no words, I can’t even come up with a name to call this.
There’s no one to vote for, I don’t feel good about
voting for Romney or Obama, or that Libertarian candidate either, so I’m just
not going to vote at all. For the first time since I was 18, I’m skipping out
on the election.
I’m worried
about where America is headed, but I trust in the Good Lord above, that He has
us in His Hands, and He will bring us back to Him, as we are a nation founded
under God, my God, and we will always be. That will never change. God will get
HIS country back.
I don’t think
it’s the end of the world, by any means, but I do think we are in for some hard
times ahead. I think we will live through the hard times, and make it through
to the other side, and see better days, more peaceful days.
It’s hard to
imagine right now, but I believe God will see us through, and his blessings are
on the other side of these hard times.
I pray that we
start manufacturing again, producing our own fuel, eating from our own crops,
using the cotton the Lord has produced for us to make fabric, clothing,
blankets, all goods, that we start building with wood, stone, brick, steel,
iron, gold. That we produce the goods from the earth, and be thankful to the
Lord, who has provided for us all. That we tear down the old abandoned
buildings, use the scraps, build new buildings. That we grow as a nation
together, in this century.
That we supply
an honest and fair wage, and working conditions, that we work hard together,
and love one another unconditionally in Jesus Christ. That every man is the
other’s friend, and that each would die for his neighbor, his family, and his
country.
I pray the Lord
start us on that path, together as a nation, believing in Jesus, and His path
for our lives, and our nation, trusting in Him to deliver us, and provide
blessings for us, and that He is the Maker, and the Healer of our own hearts,
and of our lands, and that we LOVE HIM FREELY, with all our hearts, minds, and
souls, and mights.
May we take care
of the poor, the sick, the homeless, and the needy out of our own pocket, and
our own hearts, providing freely to them without government assistance.
I’m drinking
coffee now, it’s 12:50, but I really need to be cleaning off a desk, and filing
some papers.
I want to go
home and sew and mow my yard, but the skeeters are so bad outside. The minute
we open the car door about 10 or so of them scramble inside the car, we have to
run and kill bugs half the day.
I planned on
cleaning the windows of the car today, so I guess that’s what I’m about to do,
if it’s not too hot outside, and I can find some OFF.
