10:37am
It’s
Thursday. I got up at 6, made coffee,
and dreaded the day. I tried to get Brian up at about 6:45, but he wouldn’t get
out of bed, so I just crawled back in the bed with him, and we slept til 7:20.
I got up, and I
really, REALLY didn’t want to go to work today, and said I was staying home,
that I just couldn’t do it today. I took a sleeping pill last night, and I was
just groggy.
At about 7:30, I
changed my mind, and got up and got dressed, and we were out the door by 7:50,
only running 5 minutes late for work.
I called Granny
on the way to work, and told her about Hancock’s blowout sale today. As you
know, I’ve been planning on going to Hancock’s on Thursday, for a week now, and
just yesterday, Brian came in and handed me the mail, and there was a flyer
offering 70% off, starting today. God is so GOOD to me! I thank HIM for these
blessings J
Granny told me
not to buy any fabric just because it’s on sale, but I figure they’re clearing
out the old, for the new, so I need to get it while it’s still here.
Mama made
coffee, and Uncle Jay came in. We all visited for a while, talking about
internet, and family, regular stuff, and then, because I asked, Uncle Jay
adjusted my computer, so that it will run better. I’m so glad he’s my uncle!
I started making
my todo list, and figuring out how much fabric I’m going to need to make all
these quilts by Christmas, showing Mama my patterns and things.
Brian was
surfing on my tablet, and is now surfing in his office, checking out everything
news in the sports world.
I started
getting hungry, and thought about cereal, but saw the peach pie Mama just made
yesterday, and decided to have it. Total 400 calories, plus milk (150) coffee (200)= 750 before lunch.
Mama’s made
these I know are delicious enchiladas (500 for 1), and I’ll probably have that
for lunch = 1250
My jewelry came
in, and me and Mama looked at it, and she loved my diamond and amethyst
earrings, and thought about buying them from me, to go with her purple necklace
that Daddy gave her, but she decided not to spend the money, and I was
disappointed, cause someone in the family needs these earrings. But alas, I’m
returning them.
Daddy came in,
and he starting looking at youtube videos on reloading bullets, cause he enjoys
it, and can save a little money in the process. Duck season is coming up, and I
don’t know anything about what all they shoot, but I’m sure he can use all this
for hunting.
He just joined a
deer camp in Missouri, that him, Uncle Clyde, and my cousin Brian from
Mississippi will all be hunting this season. Daddy’s never hunted big game, so
this will definitely be an experience of a lifetime.
Mama’s been
cleaning out her cabinets, and found my platters that I bought in Florida, and
is giving them back to me. She also found a blue glass vase, that I have had,
that will be pretty on my table. I’ve even got some roses at home that I can
cut and put in there.
I started to go
ahead and go to Hancock’s this morning, early, and to Kohl’s, but Daddy had
just gotten here, so I decided I’d stay and visit with him and Mama and Brian
for a little while.
We’re all
sitting here at our computers now, except for Mama, who is cooking sausage,
eggs, and cheese biscuits for her, Brian and Daddy. I’m skipping out on it,
cause I’ve already eaten my breakfast, and plan on having those enchiladas for
lunch.
I guess I’ll
have lunch before I go to Hancock’s, cause I don’t want my sugar to mess up on
me half-way through my shopping excursion, or get to starving, that wouldn’t be
any fun. So I guess I’ll leave here around 12:30, and head to Monroe.
I’m also picking
up a Christmas present for Brian today, so I’m going to have to be sneaky about
getting it in Mama and Daddy’s house, cause I’m not going to be able to hide it
at home, he’ll find it, unless I can figure out somewhere to hide it from him.
Best left at Mama and Daddy’s.
The only problem
with that is getting Brian to hide somewhere, while I bring it in the house.
I’ll have to make him hide somewhere where he can’t see through the window,
like in Daddy’s office, or my old room.
The rest of my
Target stuff came in today. I’m going to be SO GLAD to have the bathroom
redone. I need to go look at my boxes, and see all my stuff, except for the
etergie cause it’s going to take some putting together, and I don’t want to
open that box til it’s time to put it up, AFTER the paint.
I had 2200
calories yesterday, and I didn’t walk. I ate cereal & milk (350) coffee
(200) chicken and dumplings (350) trail mix (300) canadian bacon pita (500)
skinny cow (150), and popcorn (400).
I ate a lot
yesterday, but I wasn’t feeling good at all after that pita, for some reason,
so I ate the ice cream, and then we rented a movie, so we had popcorn.
We watched The
Five Year Engagement, with Emily Blunt and Jason Segel. IT WAS SO GOOD! There
were so many good parts in it! It had funny parts, and love parts, so much good
stuff in it! I’m telling you, if I didn’t already believe in true love, I would
after this movie. ….it is a MUST SEE!
It had been so
long since me and Brian watched a movie. It was so nice just to sit down on the
couch, put my arms around him, and eat popcorn together. I could smoke when I
wanted to, he could dip, and we only spent $5.00, and had a private screening.
It was so nice! I really enjoyed it much better than the theatre, and so did
Brian he says, in some ways. Maybe we’ll just rent our movies from now on, I
really liked it.
9:21 pm
Another day of
lots of calories. I had peach pie (300), coffee (300) enchilada (500) milk
(150), before I went to Monroe. When I got back from Monroe, enchilada (500)
apple (80) half slice of peach pie (150) trail mix (200) = 2180 for the day,
and I walked off 80, so 2100 for the day.
Not good. This
is the second day like this. And tomorrow night we are going out to eat!
I’ve got 3 days:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, to get some weight off before Monday morning when
I weigh. I’m going to have to do a self evaluation tonight, just me and God,
and figure out why I’m eating so much, and why I’m not backing away from the
table.
